Position Title: Workers' Compensation Claim SpecialistLocation: Hybrid – Maitland, FL (Hybrid after initial training - 2 days in office one week - 3 days in office the following week)Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM ETSalary Range: $67,500 - $83,000

About the Role

As a Workers’ Compensation Claim Specialist, you will manage Florida workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution for a single dedicated client. This role involves live-time exposure, handling some litigated claims, and experience with Florida Heart and Lung claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

🔹 Investigate, evaluate, and adjust Florida workers’ compensation claims in compliance with state laws🔹 Manage some litigated claims and collaborate with legal professionals🔹 Oversee medical, legal, and financial aspects to ensure proper claim resolution🔹 Establish and maintain accurate reserves🔹 Negotiate settlements following client-specific guidelines and state regulations🔹 Coordinate subrogation claims and excess carrier notifications

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed

✔ FL Adjuster’s License (Required)✔ Experience handling Florida workers’ compensation claims✔ Knowledge of Florida Heart and Lung claims (Preferred)✔ Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills✔ Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
