We’re looking for motivated individuals who have a passion for customer service and collections. High Character is the Core of Locke Supply Culture. This position will be based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Locke Supply is the most progressive supply house in the Southwest, with locations in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Maryland, Virginia, Kansas, and Arkansas. With a 45 Acre complex in Oklahoma City, supplying over 160 locations, Locke is a premium supplier in the Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC markets.

What are the responsibilities?

The following sets forth the primary responsibilities for this position but is not exhaustive:

Contacting customers and or sales associates concerning past due balance
Collections of past due accounts within Locke Supply with varying levels of delinquent amounts
Take payments from customers on outstanding accounts.
Balance accounts as necessary
Calling and/or visiting customers
Clearly communicate with customers
Work with Sales teams and branches in collecting on open balances
Working both remote and in office

What are the requirements?

4 years collections experience
Experience in or ability to learn Liens and Bonds Laws for the following states: Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
Ability to travel throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, West Memphis, TN or Texas.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or four years of experience
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently when needed, but also able to work in a team environment
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Excel and ability to learn new computer systems
Self-motivated and willingness to learn and try new things
Ability to work independently
Training and headquarters located in Oklahoma City, OK (remove: Ability to travel to OK for training)
