Accountant

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for an opportunity in the manufacturing industry? We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Exeter, NH. If you have 3-5 years of experience and a passion for numbers, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Assist with audits and provide detailed reports to management as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
