Liability Claim Associate - Hybrid Opportunity
Are you looking to launch a rewarding career in property and casualty claims while gaining hands-on experience with a supportive team? CCMSI is seeking a Liability Claim Associate to join our growing team. This position offers excellent growth potential, including promotion to Claim Representative and opportunities for advancement into more complex claims handling.
Position Highlights:
- Hybrid schedule after the initial training period
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Will be required to pass the Texas Adjuster License Exam if not already licensed
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn the fundamentals of handling property & casualty claims with a focus on liability claims.
- Manage a caseload of small complexity claims, gradually progressing to more complex cases.
- Provide administrative support to the claims team while developing skills necessary for handling claims independently.
- Ensure quality claim service and meet corporate claim standards as perceived by CCMSI clients.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and other tools to track and report on claim activities.
Growth Potential:
- This position offers a career path to a Claim Representative role within.
- After 2 years, candidates may qualify for the P&C LevelUp program, enhancing claim-handling complexity and career development.

Responsibilities
Provide support to claim staff.
Set up property damage appraisals.
Set up car rentals.
Summarize correspondence in the claim log notes as wells as file it in the appropriate claim, as directed by the designated claim adjuster.
Photocopy claim documents, as needed as well as save documents into Claim Documents.
Attach and summarize police reports.
Process Documents in the Document Queue when needed.
Process Bills in the Bill Queue as directed by the designated claim adjuster.
Complete ISO indexing on BI claims.
Review and release payments as directed by the designated claim adjuster.
Compliance with service commitments as established by the team.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Associates degree or two year’s related business experience required.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Computer Skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
TX or IL Property & Casualty adjuster’s license preferred but not required
*Will be required to pass the Texas Adjuster License Exam if not already licensed
