Sr. Brand Manager

Basic Purpose and Scope:

This position acts as the gatekeeper of the brand by developing and executing the brand strategy from beginning to end. This position also manages marketing activities for specific product lines and innovation across selling channels in alignment with company goals. Innovation is also a primary focus, leading the current and future planning for innovation in the Retail Channel.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Lead the development of new product innovation, including creation and management of 35-year pipeline
Develop and execute to annual strategies, objectives, marketing plans and budgets for specific product lines across different selling channels
Manage National Trade Marketing Programs and coordinate Cross Promotions within the Trade
Work with overall Brand Team to create and execute consistent projects and processes
Manage a cross functional team to launch projects on time and on budget
Develop product, pricing, promotion, placement and profit strategies to optimize distribution gains, sell-through and ROI
Measure campaign results, provide recommendations for the business and develop consumer marketing best practices for the company
Manage external marketing partners such as advertising/packaging agencies, digital marketing firms and production companies
Attend and prepare for key Trade Shows and Events as related to Product Line Responsibilities
Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.
Ability to meet attendance requirements
Other activities and duties as assigned

Assistant Brand Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:

Education: BA/BS Business, Marketing or Related Field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
Certifications: N/A
Experience: Five or more years of experience in Brand Management, preferably in consumer-packaged goods
Consistently demonstrates the ability to transmit ideas effectively with customers, agencies, team members, retailers, brokers and supervisors in a professional manner
Good proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Ability to use business planning, budgeting, and sales forecasting to meet business goals and objectives, with direct budgeting and P&L responsibility
Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas effectively and efficiently in the common language
Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Travel Requirements:

Travel up to 15% of the time should be expected
Travel may be required with little warning and/or for extended periods of time. Off-site deployment of up to 1 week could be expected
