Production Supervisor supervises and controls the efficient use of human resources, machines and other resources to meet and continuously improve upon the established production standards, ConMet values, and objectives.
What You Will Do:
- Ensure that all shift team members comply with safety procedures and use required safety equipment.
- Direct all shift team members, as needed, to ensure that production and quality requirements are met.
- Analyze production schedules and allocate resources to meet internal and external needs.
- Interface with other departments in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product.
- Provide detailed daily attendance and shift performance reports.
- Conduct production and safety meetings and provide training, guidance, and leadership, as needed, for all shift personnel.
- Effectively manage employee performance and development processes to include training, performance feedback, corrective action administration, addressing employee concerns and supporting a positive employee experience.
- Investigate, resolve and implement corrective actions related to safety, quality and efficiency. Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Two-year college degree with minimum three years of leadership experience in a high pace Assembly production environment or equivalent experience required
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and manage employee performance required
- MS Office proficiency required
- Understanding of inventory control practices required
- SAP experience preferred
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in the Automotive sector preferred
