Manager of Corporate Development

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager of Corporate Development to lead and support our growth initiatives from our Chicago headquarters. This role will take ownership of the end-to-end acquisition and partnership processes, including deal sourcing, financial valuation, negotiation, and integration planning. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities, execute high-impact transactions, and help expand the company’s footprint to achieve key growth objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

Lead strategic planning efforts to identify and prioritize growth opportunities that align with company goals and long-term strategy.
Oversee the full lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, from opportunity identification and due diligence to negotiation, execution, and integration.
Develop comprehensive financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) and synergy analyses, to support valuations and drive informed decision-making.
Serve as the central point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring efficient coordination of due diligence, integration planning, and project execution.
Prepare and deliver in-depth analyses, M&A updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Monitor and evaluate industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform strategic positioning and business decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, strategy consulting, or a related field with a focus on M&A, partnerships, or capital markets.
Proven success in leading and executing complex transactions and high-impact strategic initiatives.
Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ).
Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

$130,000-$150,000+ bonus
