Litehouse is seeking an experienced and strategic Consumer Insights Manager to join our team!

The Consumer Insights Manager is responsible for researching and analyzing market information, such as consumer surveys, and translating research findings into actionable insights that inform the development, selling, and marketing plan of a new product. This role is pivotal in representing the consumer in business decisions and identifying opportunities and risks for marketing strategy and product innovation based on consumer needs.

What you will do

Conduct research to gather consumer insights and behavioral data, analyze trends and patterns to inform business strategies.
Develop and implement research strategies tailored to specific market needs and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate consumer insights into product development and marketing strategies.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to adjust research focus and strategies.
Manage and oversee external research vendors and partners to ensure quality and timely delivery of insights.
Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of implemented insights-driven strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Market Research, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Certified Market Research Analyst preferred.
5-7 years Proven experience in market research, consumer insights, or a related field.
Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Proficiency in market research methodologies and tools.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using market research tools and software, such as SPSS, SAS, R, or other statistical analysis programs, as well as data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
In-depth understanding of various market research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research techniques, survey design, and data analysis methods.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights that can inform marketing strategies and product development.
Comprehensive knowledge of consumer behavior principles, including factors that influence purchasing decisions, lifestyle trends, and brand perceptions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present research findings and insights in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to diverse audiences.
Effective project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple market research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of results.
Strong critical thinking abilities to assess research findings, identify potential opportunities and risks, and provide strategic recommendations based on consumer needs and market trends.
Ability to stay current with the latest market research trends, tools, and best practices, and adapt to changing business needs and consumer preferences.
