Project Developer / Sales Consultant (Residential Design + Build)

Full-Time | Onsite | Mountain View, CA

At Harrell Design + Build, we are seeking a high-performing, sales professional to guide homeowners through the early stages of their remodeling journey. This is a relationship-first, high-value sales role where trust, strategy, and client experience are just as important as closing deals.

What You’ll Do

Lead Development & Qualification

Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify leads based on fit, scope, and budget
Conduct thoughtful discovery conversations to uncover client goals and motivations
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through follow-up, referrals, and networking

Sales

Meet with homeowners to understand their vision, priorities, and expectations
Clearly communicate our design-build process and value proposition
Present proposals, budgets, and agreements with confidence and professionalism
Guide clients through decision-making and secure signed design and construction agreements

Project Development & Team Collaboration

Partner with design and production teams to ensure project feasibility and alignment
Gather and communicate critical project details for a seamless handoff
Introduce clients to the design team and reinforce confidence in our process

Client Experience

Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients
Maintain continuity and communication through early project phases
Deliver a polished, high-touch client experience that generates referrals and repeat business

What Makes You Successful in This Role

3–5+ years of experience in high end sales, business development, or project development (remodeling, construction, real estate, or design-related industries preferred)
Proven ability to close high-value sales
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trust quickly and navigate complex client conversations
Highly organized with strong follow-through and pipeline management
Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
Valid driver’s license and ability to attend in-person client meeting

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary:

$85,000.00 to $110,000.00
Performance Based Bonus
