Job Position Description
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customer' by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Duties that may be assigned:
- Perform all cleaning duties using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures.
- Laundry Duties include: sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding clothes & other textile items
- Pick up textiles from customers for cleaning
- Removing stains from items using appropriate procedures
- Inventory textiles using Encircle program
- Learn to operate the Esporta wash system and become a certified operator
- Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude, keep a clean workplace and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time.
- Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers; as well as company equipment.
- Maintenance of laundry equipment including weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance on the Esporta was system
Second Shift
- Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Full Time - 40 Hours
- Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
Physical Demands And Qualifications
- Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward.
- Must be able to lift and and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products, uses and comprehend cleaning instructions.
- The ability to be flexible, work independently and as a team member.
- Experience in laundry, janitorial, housekeeper a plus but not required.
- Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Must be willing and available to work nights and weekends.
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
