Administrative Specialist - Metro NE Atlanta

Seeking a full-time HR/Accounting Administrative Specialist to join a well-recognized firm that is a leader in its industry. This position will support both the HR and Accounting departments, working under the direction of the HR Director and closely with the accounting team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling a variety of administrative tasks. This is a full-time in office position.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage benefits enrollment and termination for employees as they become eligible or leave the firm.
Oversee timecard management to ensure alignment with payroll deadlines and procedures.
Coordinate FMLA/LOA requests and manage related documentation.
Handle employment verifications as needed.
Assist with unemployment claims and responses under direct supervision.
Perform basic accounting tasks related to law firm trust accounts.
Manage multi-day check runs for case costs submitted by legal teams.
Experience with SAGE accounting systems is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in administrative HR and basic accounting tasks.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple teams.
Experience with SAGE accounting systems is a plus but not required.
