Overview
As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you’ll manage several wind and solar projects. You will interact with clients, and contractors to develop new relationships and expand our renewable energy portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Manage renewable energy site development design with a focus on ground mounted solar arrays and battery energy storage systems (BESS);
- Drive business development activities in conjunction with the firms’ annual business development objectives;
- Prepare and monitor project budgets;
- Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects;
- Prepare design concepts and develops project plans and specifications;
- Prepare proposals for engineering services;
- Coordinate and approve pricing, estimating, and proposed strategies for proposed projects;
- Serve as a designated client contact;
- Supervise and direct team of technical staff and assigns tasks;
- Meets/correspond with clients to obtain direction/feedback;
- Conduct site visits as required;
- Responsible for control of work-in-process for, ensures accurate client billings and monitors outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on projects.
Qualifications
- 20+ years’ of civil engineering experience;
- 5-8 years experience with solar and wind projects;
- BS in Civil Engineering;
- Professional Engineering License (P.E.);
- Ability to develop and mentor staff;
- Ability to prepare and/or review Civil Engineering deliverables;
- Ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution;
- Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business;
- Ability to speak and present during public meetings;
- Civil 3D and stormwater modelling experience a plus.

The posting range for this position is between $84,456 - $154,494 based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).
