Overview

As a Geotechnical Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), you'll be responsible for geotechnical subsurface investigations related to civil design (building foundations, cut and fill slopes, retaining walls, landslides, and pavements), as well as construction quality assurance services. You will coordinate or monitor subsurface drilling, obtain soil and rock samples, prepare boring logs, develop laboratory testing programs, interpret laboratory data, perform geotechnical analyses and prepare detailed geotechnical reports. Projects will primarily be for commercial, retail, institutional, energy, and industrial clients. This role will also include construction quality assurance services in support of our landfill and impoundment construction and closure projects.

Qualifications

B.S. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical;
0-5 years of consulting Geotechnical Engineering experience;
Ability to handle multiple projects;
Ability to speak and write professionally;
Highly motivated, self-starter with the desire to learn quickly and succeed professionally.
