DSG is seeking a Supply Chain Process Owner to support the design, optimization, and reporting of our warehouse processes. As a Supply Chain Process Owner, you will play an integral part in improving the overall efficiency, effectiveness, and performance of our warehouse operations, with a focus on optimizing quality, cost, delivery, and safety. Scope of this role will include the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement, design of new concepts, start to finish implementation, and continued sustainment. Individuals in this role will work very closely with the day-to-day branch operations and field leadership.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Supply Chain Process Owner at DSG:

Serve as the primary owner of a specific process path within warehouse operations. This includes ownership of the process designs, documentation, training, metrics, root cause analysis, and performance audits.
Drive the design and execution of processes that ensure on-time delivery and efficient logistics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, improve lead times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational improvements. Use data and insights to drive decision-making and optimize processes continuously
Analyze cost impacts and identify opportunities for savings across the warehouse.
Design initiatives to reduce waste, improve resource allocation, and optimize the customer level of service.
Identify the mechanical needs necessary to support throughput and headcount within the process.
Work closely with Learning and Development team to ensure proper implementation of warehouse process training.
All other duties as assigned

A Successful Supply Chain Process Owner Typically Has:

Strong understanding of DSG’s Multi-Segment Strategy
Extensive knowledge and business acumen of wholesale distribution
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline with a minimum of 7+ years of related experience in the industry
Experience within Industrial Distribution Operations
Excellent people skills, with an ability to collaborate with internal leaders and external partners
The adaptability to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving work environment while also driving toward clarity and solutions
