Position Title: Multi-Line Claim Representative I

Location: Hybrid - Scottsdale, AZ

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000

The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate of the base pay range for this role, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include bonuses, benefits, or other forms of pay. About the Role:

We are seeking a Multi-Line Claim Representative I to manage a dedicated national account, handling claims across all jurisdictions except Nebraska, South Dakota, and Hawaii. This role requires daily in-office attendance during the initial training period (up to 6 months), transitioning to a hybrid schedule with mandatory in-office attendance one day per month for meetings, and additional days as needed for training or meetings. Please note, hybrid work is a privilege that can be revoked based on performance or attendance.

Responsibilities

Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Review medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices to determine if they are reasonable and related to ongoing claims; negotiate disputed bills as necessary.
Authorize and make payment of liability claims within settlement authority and industry standards.
Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys in accordance with client authorization.
Assist in the selection and supervision of defense attorneys.
Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
Prepare reports detailing claims, payments, and reserves.
Provide reports and monitor files as required by excess insurers.
Ensure compliance with service commitments established by the team.
Deliver quality claim service to clients.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

Required:
- Home state adjuster's license.
- 2+ years liability claim experience or insurance related experience is required or equivalent education is required.
Preferred:
- A few years of experience with knowledge in total loss and subrogation.

Performance Measurement: Performance will be evaluated through audits, production metrics, claim reviews, and performance evaluations.
