Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 / hour

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Safely and efficiently operate a forklift; perform required daily inspections

Pick full and partial pallets, wrap pallets when necessary, stage product for loading, check pallets for accuracy to order

Maintain clean and organized aisles or rack storage, and consolidate partial pallets when needed

Inventory product as needed; label, sort, wrap and tie product

Handload product onto containers

Comply with company safety policies and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures

Accurately complete required paperwork in accordance with company standards

Additional duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor, Lead, or Plant Manager

Skills, Intellectual Demands and Job Requirements:

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Forklift certification preferred
Minimum of 6 months to one year or more of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Forklift Certification
Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Effectively communicate questions, problems and reports to co-workers, supervisory and management personnel.
Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.
Must display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of personnel.
