Job Description

The Role: You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Phoenix Metro area.

Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To:

Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
Load and unload product from trailer with electric pallet jack
Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery
Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers
Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues
Professionally maintained, reliable and safe equipment
Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate
All other duties as requested or assigned

Qualifications

Be 23 yrs. or older, for insurance purposes
1+ year of driving experience highly preferred
Valid drivers license and medical card Interstate qualification, registered
Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift
Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English Satisfactory driving record

All job offers for this position are contingent upon passing a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen (includes THC), and company road test. Charlies Produce is the largest privately owned produce wholesalers on the West Coast. Additional Information

This is a safety-sensitive position.

This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.

Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
