Key Responsibilities:

As an Associate Principal / Senior Electrical Design Engineer (MEP) at Interface in New York, you will be taking ownership as a discipline leader on multiple MEP projects. You will collaborate with the Mechanical Principal to help grow and expand our New York studio. The position presents a unique opportunity to build your own client portfolio and personally drive the build-up of the electrical design team for New York. Successful performance will position you for promotion to Principal Your duties will include, but may not be limited to:

Marketing and developing new and existing client business.
Networking, brand communication, trade show and association engagement/attendance.
Innovative and complex electrical system design
Meeting and consulting with clients
Providing guidance to junior design staff
Supporting overall project management to our MEP team leaders.

What You'll Bring:

Required:

BSEE
10+ years' prior experience with a consulting MEP practice
High-energy client services skills
Excellent communication ability
Complete understanding of building codes
Thorough design system knowledge

Preferred:

A Professional Engineering License (or equivalent experience)
LEED Accreditation
Experience with Revit
