MJ is currently seeking a Design Engineer to join our widely respected and diverse Transportation Division in our
Binghamton, NY office location.
This entry-level position will work with a team of professionals in developing highway and roadway design plans, including grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater design, quantities, specs and contract documents for State DOT and Municipal projects throughout New York and New England.
This position will require some fieldwork travel.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with E.I.T. required.
- 0 - 3 years of civil infrastructure design or construction administration experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Microstation / InRoads a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team.
Pay Range

The pay range listed in this posting is an approximation and representation of our good faith effort to provide the anticipated salary range. The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to the candidate's work location, relevant experience, educational background, licensure or certifications, and capabilities compared to the requirements of the advertised position.
Pay Range: $32 - $37 / hour
