For 55 years, Hollywood Woodwork has been a leader in producing top-quality architectural millwork projects across the United States and the Caribbean. Recently, we've expanded our services to include new divisions in stone, metal, and residential projects. Our 120,000 sq. ft. high-tech manufacturing facilities in South Florida are home to a team of over 150 employees with diverse backgrounds and expertise, including estimators, design engineers, architects, master craftsmen, machine techs, installation carpenters, office management, and project managers. The Procurement Specialist will manage the procurement process for millwork materials, equipment, and services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

· Source, evaluate, and select millwork materials, equipment, and services suppliers.

· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and achieve cost savings.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and develop strategic sourcing plans.

· Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase order management, supplier performance evaluation, and inventory control.

· Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

· Utilize procurement software and tools to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.

Qualifications:

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement strategies.

· Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

· Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient procurement operations.

· Ability to think strategically and contribute to the long-term success of the procurement function.

· Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to achieve procurement objectives.

· Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance in the construction industry.

Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

· A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or woodworking industry.

· Strong knowledge and experience in millwork construction materials and processes.
