A Brief Overview
As a Field Service Technician Electrician, you work with customers to troubleshoot equipment issues, create solutions, and ensure a smooth interaction, all while upholding the integrity of Wood-Mizer's core values. This position is knowledgeable in many facets of the organization and will provide guidance, training, and instruction to customers and various members of the team. You will be based locally, but you will also travel and have direct customer contact.

What you will do
- Interfaces with customers regarding technical aspects of the organization's products or services.
- Provides problem resolution and troubleshooting to customers over the telephone and in the field.
- Assists with product updates.
- Relays customer feedback regarding products to appropriate personnel in sales, quality assurance, and product management.
- Determines the appropriate method to resolve problems ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to the organization's policies
- Provides guidance, training, and instruction to non-technical representatives.
- Make service calls or deliveries to Wood-Mizer customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations for the sales department at commercial and industrial shows.
- Complete Certification material as required.
- Able to meet minimum DOT requirements.
- Maintain DOT requirements (log books, etc…).
- A minimum of 35% travel is required; weekends may be included
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma High School Education or Equivalent. Req
- Trade School Certificate Engine Repair, or other mechanical certificate Pref
Experience Qualifications
- 1-3 years Prior Experience with service in the manufacturing field or similar Required Required
Skills and Abilities
- Mechanical Aptitude (High proficiency)
- Knowledge of Hydraulics (Medium proficiency)
- Must be willing to travel (High proficiency)
- Typing skills, telephone skills, and computer literacy (Medium proficiency)
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel. (Medium proficiency)
Licenses and Certifications
- Drivers License - MDOT Medical Physical Required
