Torch Technologies is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator to join a team to assist the 388th Electronic Warfare Squadron, 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation.

As a Computer Systems Administrator your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

Assist in providing IT support for client systems,
Resolve IT support requests from employees answering computer system issues,
Communicate with employees on status of service requests, updating IT trouble tickets as needed,
Provide COMSEC manager duties,
Maintain networked systems.

Job Requirements

U.S. Citizenship
A Bachelor's degree in information security, computer information systems, or a related field, such as IT, science, or engineering,
DoW 8140 Certification: Must hold a current certification that meets the intermediate technical support role requirement, such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, GSEC, or GICSP.
10+ years of relevant experience,
Strong technical knowledge of DoW enterprise Networks and Client Computing solutions,
Ability to diagnose and resolve end user computer issues,
Experience of COMSEC, with devices such as TACLANEs, ViPERs, Key Management,
Experience with enterprise software management for large organizations,
Ability to effectively communicate between multiple organizations to resolve technical issues,
Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance within 9 months of job start, due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.

Preferred Skills

A Top Secret/SCI clearance is preferable at hire.

Schedule: 40 Hrs/week
