CNC Machinist

The Alloy Engineering Company • Cuyahoga Falls, OH, US • $25 - $35 / hour • 3w ago

Description

Not just another machinist job.

Mach3 isn't a production house running the same part a thousand times. We specialize in large-scale precision machining, tight tolerances, and one-off work that keeps you thinking. If you've been running HAAS mills and want to do work that actually challenges your skills, keep reading.

As a 100% employee-owned company, every part you run builds your own future. Our ESOP is fully company-funded. No buy-in. No paycheck deductions. You show up, do great work, and build equity while you build parts.

What You'll Do

Set up and operate HAAS CNC mills to produce precision components from alloy steel and specialty metals
Review blueprints, select tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences based on job requirements
Load programs and make routine G-code and M-code edits; adjust tool and work offsets as needed
Complete first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues independently
Perform daily start-up, clean-up, and routine preventive maintenance

What You Bring

3-5 years of CNC machining experience with hands-on HAAS mill setup and operation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
Working knowledge of G-code and M-code (programming experience is a plus)
Experience machining alloy steel
Strong attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to safety

What We Pay

Competitive hourly rate based on experience (we pay for skill)
$3,000 sign-on bonus (paid quarterly throughout the 1st year of employment)
Quarterly performance bonuses on top of your base pay

What You Get as an Owner

100% company-funded ESOP retirement plan: this is real equity, not a promise
401(k) with company match
Medical, dental, and vision: choice of plans to fit your needs
6 paid holidays plus PTO
Tuition reimbursement: want to learn programming or advance your career? We invest in that.
Referral bonuses: bring someone good, get paid for it

Why Mach3 Over the Competition

You're an owner, not an employee number. Every year you build ESOP shares at zero cost to you.
The work is custom and varied: large-diameter precision machining for demanding industrial applications.
Drama-free culture. We mean it. Our stay interviews confirm it. People stay because they like who they work with.
