RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to account managers
- Search for and qualify new leads
- Recruit, develop and qualify partner carriers
- Maintain and update database of carriers and accounts
- Communicate requirements with carriers
- Assist in entering loads
- Match carriers to loads using carrier networks
- Assist in and perform sales calls
- Negotiate pricing with carriers
- Coordinate load dispatch and monitor progress
- Set up new accounts
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Junior or senior level college status with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in a team oriented environment, make good decisions, and problem solve. Must possess the ability and desire to learn new programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two or more years of sales, customer service, or administrative experience
SPECIAL TRAINING: Ability to use Microsoft Office software applications, utilize a Logistics Operations System, CRM Tool & navigate the Windows XP Operating System
