Summary:
US-EcoLogic Single Family has an opening for BQC Field Manager position to help improve and manage the delivery of our Build Quality Confirmation program to our builder clients. The BQC Field Manager would report directly to General Manager of Field Operations and assist in a variety of tasks outlined below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forecasting the need of additional or replacement equipment as needed
- Assist in the field training of any new field inspectors.
- Handling special calls, audits (QA’s)
- Provide on-site training for Construction Managers and construction trades.
- Regular, proactive communication with Construction Managers as to the status of inspections and areas needing improvement within assigned areas.
- The use of reporting tools and in person conversations.
- Identify and resolve any ongoing trade issues that arise in assigned area.
- Implementation and enforcement of changes to construction practices in assigned areas as dictated by client specific needs.
- Review inspection Reports daily. Create and resolve issues noted on inspections to reinforce consistency.
- Provide Field Management team with community specific areas of improvement so they, along with Project Managers, can communicate to client’s corporate office.
- Prospect other builders to help create business leads for Project Managers
- Quarterly Assessments of Field Inspectors assigned to your area given to General Manager.
- Forecasting of upcoming inspections to avoid missed inspections and to adequately staff the field.
- Participate in monthly meetings with General Manager
- Hold Bi-weekly field meetings with the inspectors.
- Hold bi-weekly field meetings to meet the expectations below.

- ALL FIELD MEETINGS TO HAVE AGENDA AND SUMMARY SENT TO FIELD TEAM .
Other Job Responsibilities:

- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

30/60/90-day success reviews:
This is a critical supervisory position within US-EcoLogic Field Services. Therefore, your performance of this job will be evaluated at the 30, 60 and, 90-day marks using the following criteria and will be evaluated every 90 days thereafter.
- Superior performance in managing inspections.
- Superior performance in managing the task list.
- No more than a 24-hour completion time of personal and rater assigned tasks in QuickBase.
- Superior performance in reducing the number of miscommunication and dry runs.
- Track and report the total number of Construction Manager trainings that were held monthly.
- Track and report the total number of trades trainings held in your area monthly.
- Clear and proper communication with General Manager
- Follow through with all issues to completion in a timely fashion.
- Being able to make independent decisions and actions and appropriately apply them.

In the event of a poor review our key options for corrective action are as follows:
- If training is deemed appropriate a specific training plan will be provided and Area Manager evaluated in 30 days
- If applicable, you will be moved back to your previous position if it is available or to a position that better fits your skill set.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma and or On-the-job experience in the Construction Field
Language Skills:
Proficient communication skills in email, text, and phone conversations
Physical Qualifications:
Pass a Physical and able to lift 50 pounds.
