We are looking for a Special Project HVAC Forman/Mechanic, who are looking for an exciting career with an industry leader that’s been in the business since 1929.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR THE JOB:

Performing various HVAC install related jobs on our commercial sites.
Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines including proper brazing skills.
Proficient at most duct system installations from equipment through final GRDs.
Capable of looking ahead and creating a material and work force plan for a particular area of work.
Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and codes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Oversee, work with and provide direction for fellow colleagues as needed.
Continuously represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Three or more years of experience specific to the commercial HVAC industry; residential type equipment utilized as well on commercial projects.
EPA/OSHA certifications beneficial but not required.
Clear knowledge and understanding of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning requirements and operations, including proper equipment startups.
Supervise and participate in the installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to ensure that the work performed is in compliance with blueprints, manufacturer specifications and written and/or verbal instruction.
Plan and assign work to ensure proper distribution of work with newer team members to the trade, for efficient performance of duties at each job site.
Ability to identify costly deviations from the plans and bring them to the attention of the project manager.
Ability to work with other trades and communicate and coordinate conflicts.
Ability to perform all trade-related math calculations for proper installation of equipment
Must possess the ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and submittal sheets
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy objects.
General understanding of OSHA regulations.
Operating knowledge of HVAC systems and efficient use of hand tools.
Basic understanding of installation, HVAC systems, and operating basic control systems.
Clean driving record.
