Material Planner/ Contract Coordinator

EnSafe is accepting applications for a part-time Material Planner/Contract Coordinator based out of EnSafe’s Hartford, CT office.

As a Material Planner/Contract Coordinator, you will work on a wide range of projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. What You Will Be Doing:

Plan all Predictive, Preventive, and Condition Based Maintenance, in conjunction with the site’s production and operational plan, including resource (mechanic, operators, parts, equipment) availability to execute activities effectively and efficiently in a coordinated way.  Help prioritize and escalate critical works as necessary.
Access and manage SAP, SRM, and other databases to ensure that appropriate information is entered, monitored, and updated.
Create and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and employee workgroups,
Plan, coordinate, and attend meetings
Source parts, tools, and supplies label and maintain inventory
Champion the Bill of Materials (BOM) process
Evaluate, and monitor work order completion, backlog, and schedule compliance to ensure the health of maintenance systems.
Generate and distribute KPI, trend analysis, KPI reports, and other data-driven reports
Understanding of safety/environmental issues that impact job complexity/ duration

Qualifications:

2 years experience in a planning role with preferable manufacturing or technical certification or associate degree
Strong working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Possess the ability and willingness to learn additional systems necessary to the success of the role.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve complex problems
Excellent performance and communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel within the organization.
Ability to make ongoing judgments and decisions to keep the business functioning at a high level
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
