Job Summary: Temporary Full-Time Central Indexing Unit Processor I (Hybrid Position)

Join our team as a Central Indexing Unit Processor I at CCMSI, where your exceptional typing skills and meticulous attention to detail will play a crucial role in maintaining our document management system. This is a hourly, temporary full-time position based in Danville, IL, with no defined end date, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The role includes the flexibility to work from home after completing an initial training period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Indexing: Accurately review and index scanned documents with the appropriate custom properties, maintaining a productivity rate of at least 45 documents per hour.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure a 99% accuracy ratio in document indexing, promptly correcting any errors in custom properties as needed.
- Program Proficiency: Develop a functional knowledge of the ICEBAR program to efficiently handle daily tasks.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned by the CIU Supervisor to support team goals.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer keying abilities are essential for both speed and accuracy (50-70 WPM preferred). Familiarity with Windows software packages is necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for maintaining productive relationships within the team.
- Confidentiality: Discretion and confidentiality are paramount in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities
- Daily indexing of scanned documents with a high degree of accuracy.
- To have functioning knowledge of the ICEBAR, Toolbar and Image Now programs.
- Assist in scanning historical and new documents when needed.
- Review documents that have been returned and correct indexed custom properties as needed.
- Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position.
- Responsive to internal and external client needs.
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally.
- Ability to get along with others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Associate Degree preferred
High School diploma or equivalent required
Computer Skills
Ability to operate office equipment. Ability to operate the following personal computer Windows software packages: Word and Excel
