Build strong customer relationships. Deliver solutions. Share in our success.

SRC Automotive, Inc. is a leader in remanufacturing engines for the automotive, marine, natural gas, oil, and power systems industries. As an employee-owned company, we give our associates the knowledge, voice, and financial stake to think and act like owners.

We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key customers. This role combines account management, customer service, and business development—building lasting relationships, coordinating customer needs across our organization, and identifying opportunities for profitable growth.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and confident navigating customer conversations. You can work through challenges, balance customer expectations with business needs, and follow through on commitments.

What You’ll Do

Build and manage customer relationships. Develop strong connections across customers’ organizations, respond promptly to inquiries, and understand their needs and business priorities.
Coordinate customer needs internally. Partner with Materials, Production, Quality, and other departments to address delivery, lead times, product quality, pricing, billing, and warranty concerns.
Manage orders and account activity. Receive and enter purchase orders, communicate requirements to Materials, monitor order progress, and help expedite orders when needed.
Resolve issues and manage expectations. Lead difficult conversations professionally and coordinate practical solutions that support customer satisfaction and company objectives.
Maintain accurate forecasts and records. Work with customers to forecast product volume and mix, communicate expected demand internally, and document account activity in CRM software.
Identify growth opportunities. Use customer feedback, market intelligence, and ongoing conversations to recommend SRC solutions and expand business within assigned accounts.
Support pricing and sales strategy. Prepare quotes for new products and programs with a focus on profitability, and contribute to semiannual sales strategy presentations for the Corporate Board of Directors.
Represent SRC. Participate in customer visits, trade shows, expos, and industry events, with approximately 25% travel.

What You’ll Bring

At least Two or more years of successful customer relations and/or sales experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline is preferred.
Experience in automotive, industrial, or marine markets preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence handling challenging conversations.
Ability to build relationships with customers and collaborate across internal teams.
Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts, projects, and deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, accountability, and continuous learning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ability to maintain accurate records in CRM software.
