EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE
The CSR/Delivery/Warehouseposition exists to deliver aftermarket automotive parts and accessories over established routes or within an established territory and assist in the warehouse stocking shelves and performing basic clerical duties related to the warehouse. The driver must pull and stage from stock in the warehouse, load, and drive a non-commercial delivery van to deliver the products to our customers.
You will also field incoming calls for products, resolve customer service issues and to make effective outgoing sales calls to generate sales and revenue for the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Field incoming calls from customers looking for specific products based on year, make, model and type of vehicle
- Field incoming calls relating to general customer service issues and find solutions that promptly and effectively fit the customer’s needs
- Make effective outgoing sales calls to current and prospective customers
- Review current customer accounts to discover new sales opportunities
- Accurately pull product from warehouse stock and stage outgoing orders for delivery
- Stock shelves – receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer software
- Using attention to detail to verify order quantities, lot #’s, and other options
- Assisting various departments with requests for special shipments
- Packing orders efficiently following standard procedures
- Weighing, measuring, and labeling packages correctly
- Preparing orders for shipments using various freight carriers and shipping programs
- Unload trucks and containers
- Receiving incoming shipments ensuring product and quantities are correct
- Inspecting product condition upon arrival
- Restocking items to appropriate locations
- Operating a hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift to maneuver freight
- Perform cycle counts as requested and during semi-annual inventory
- Perform housekeeping to help maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Drive non-commercial delivery van/truck to various customer locations to deliver product
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous customer service experience required
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Good active listening skills
- Organization and time management
- Proficient Microsoft computer skills
- Knowledge of inventory-based software desired
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday from approx. 8:00AM – 5:00PM
