Senior Electrical Engineer Project Manager - Grand Forks, ND

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the overall electrical design process while strengthening and expanding skills on projects such as water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection, municipal systems, process facilities, power generation, power distribution, lighting, instrumentation/controls, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).

Responsibilities

Provide professional electrical engineering services for projects including planning, studies, design, bidding and construction administration
Manage performance of assigned project team members
Maintain existing client relationships and enhance pursued relationships with clients
Identify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunities
Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work
Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments
Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings
Develop new markets, client relationships, etc.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
5+ years of electrical system design experience in the water/wastewater, power distribution, substation, renewable energies, or similar industrial facility areas
Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in water and/or wastewater treatment
Renewable energy experience (such as Wind/Solar/Battery Banks/Etc)
Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
Substation design and medium voltage experience
Project management experience
Knowledge of project financials
