Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a job opportunity for a full-time Administrative Support in Norfolk, VA.

Summary: The Administrative Support – N43 Directorate Level composes correspondence, creates spreadsheets, and manages databases as needed to support the COMNAVSURFLANT Maintenance and Modernization Directorate (N43).

Duties And Responsibilities

Review and update daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for the Assistant Chief of Staff (ACOS) for Material based on government inputs
Assist with travel planning, making travel arrangements, and preparing documentation for travel claims for government personnel
Provide mail pickup/delivery, interoffice mail routing/sorting, and messenger services from building to building and between various local (within 50 miles of Norfolk, VA) naval installations and private contractor facilities
Compose standard naval messages using CMP program based on input provided. Review and edit draft messages for completeness and accuracy. Provide CMP file to CNSL message center when message is released by cognizant authority

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Four years of office and/or clerical experience
High degree of technical skills using Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Detailed knowledge and expertise of Naval administrative and correspondence policies, instructions, and regulations required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree
Six years of Naval service, including two years of administrative duties at a shore staff command
Experience using Navy and DoD travel processes and online systems and Naval message writing software

Regular communication (hearing/speaking)
Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding)
Frequently required to sit for long periods, stand, and walk
