At MSA Professional Services, we’re looking for a Senior Agricultural Engineer Project Manager (PE and TSP required) to help shape the future of farming across production agriculture assistance across the Midwest.
This position reports out of the Madison, WI office location, with teleworking/hybrid working arrangements possible.
From dairy and beef to poultry, swine, grain, and agro-chemical industries, you’ll work on projects that make a tangible impact from start to finish!

Responsibilities
What you will do:
• Manage the business and financial side of projects and serve as a trusted client partner• Design innovative agricultural solutions using AutoCAD and Civil3D• Manage team personnel• Navigate regulatory permitting processes• Help grow our agricultural engineering services market• Work with farmers to solve unique, meaningful problems• Mentorship of staff• Manage and review Comprehensive Nutrient Management Planning projects• See your projects come to life from concept through completion
Qualifications
What you bring:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Systems Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Civil, Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering, or related degree required • Project management experience required• PE license required• Technical Service Provider (TSP) license required• 610+ years of agricultural engineering experience required • Previous experience with NRCS standards and specifications required• Previous client liaison experience required• Experience completing Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans required• This position requires you have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position. • Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification would be preferred

The salary for this position ranges from $99,875 to $159,800 per year, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
