Are you a strategic leader with a passion for optimizing supply chain operations? We're seeking a Director of Supply Chain Management to oversee the procurement of materials and supplies for our dynamic multisite printing and fabrication business. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing key materials, managing vendor relationships, and driving process improvements to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality supply across our printing and fabrication operations. You'll also lead and develop a team of purchasing professionals, helping them grow while ensuring business continuity and excellence. On top of that you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, purchasing, or procurement in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience managing 20+ suppliers, including contract negotiation, supplier quality assurance, and vendor performance management.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and implementing supply chain strategies that align with business goals.
In this position, you will:
- Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive rates while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and manage strong relationships with key vendors to ensure timely deliveries and responsiveness to changing supply needs.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the supply chain and purchasing team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Risk & Crisis Management: Proactively manage supply risks by identifying potential disruptions, creating contingency plans, and resolving material crises.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously improve purchasing processes to enhance cost-effectiveness, streamline operations, and drive efficiencies.
- Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, sustainability initiatives, and supply chain transparency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, finance, and operations teams to forecast demand, plan inventory, and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks and projects as requested by management.
