Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Production Inventory Control Analyst to join our Planning & Scheduling team. The position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.

Consumers purchase goods manufactured on Urschel cutting equipment on a daily basis. Advanced manufacturing technologies are utilized at our climate controlled, clean, and environmentally conscious facility.
Starting pay is $19.74/hour

This position will maintain parts and machine orders, assist with cycle counting reconciliation, and guide shop/office inquiries to ensure proper inventory movements are being performed. Schedule and close machine orders, resolving any inventory issues with various depts. Verify counts on closed shop orders, identify issues, and make count adjustments. Assist with reconciling daily cycle counts. Field questions on inventory counts, research discrepancies, and make adjustments. Maintain report to ensure the finished jobs are closed in a timely manner.
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent math, organization, multi-tasking and critical thinking talents. A background in manufacturing is a plus.
