Responsibilities:
As the MTSI Senior Program Manager (PM) and Task Order Program Manager, you will lead the team providing professional technical and program management support to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E), Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) for Assault Breaker II (ABII) located in Arlington, VA. Its mission is to recognize, identify, explore, and ensure the development, integration, and funding of new technology and capabilities to maintain United States technological superiority. In the execution and expansion of its mission, ASD(MC) will transition relevant programs, processes, and technologies from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
Responsibilities:
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Lead a team of 35+ contractors, both MTSI and subcontractors; single point of contact between MTSI and Government Contractor Officer’s Representative (COR) and other government R&E leadership.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Contractor personnel. Develops and maintains a staffing plan to ensure team is properly staffed to support customer requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completion of all tasks and deliverables.
- Address and mitigate TO-related problems.
- Monitor and maintain the TO schedule.
- Recognize areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementing the improvements.
- Manage contract labor, ODC and travel costs.
- Serve as the primary interface between the TO contractor personnel and MTSI operations and infrastructure leadership (contracting, subcontracting, recruiting, security, HR, operations, etc.)
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ten (10) years of experience as a Deputy PM with demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity responsible for highly effective support in planning, developing, integrating, and executing major research, engineering, and development efforts, and technology development programs for defense agencies with extensive and diversified requirements.
- Ten (10) years of experience in establishing strong working relationships with OUSD(R&E) PMs as well as organization leadership, tracking TO efforts to rapidly identify and resolve potential and new problems, identifying and resolving administrative and contractual issues related to a support Services TO.
- Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in support of a defense agency’s technology development program must include (1) establishment of a strong working relationship with numerous contractors and other government agencies involved in the program; (2) analyses of the operational benefits of a wide variety of military systems, including translation of technical improvements into mission enhancements, in support of the program; (3) tracking program efforts to rapidly identify new problems and opportunities as the program developed; (4) innovation in and rapid implementation of effective solutions; (5) development of innovative approaches for technology transfer; (6) organizing and conducting technical meetings; and (7) providing coordinated and timely responses to requests and taskings, including independently reprioritizing tasks as requirements change.
- Ten (10) years of experience demonstrating creativity, foresight, initiative, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems.

Clearance Requirements:
