THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a self-starting, versatile Director on our Digital & Technology team with a strong technical background and expertise in both traditional and advanced machine learning methodologies. This role is ideal for someone who can independently tackle a wide range of digital tasks—from data analysis to web development—while offering insights and solutions to elevate our clients’ digital presence. The role will focus on developing data-driven solutions, building tools, and conducting ad hoc analyses to support client needs and internal projects, especially those involving large language models and AI applications.
This individual will serve as a digital expert for Global Prairie, responsible for managing and implementing a variety of digital tools, platforms, and strategies. This role includes everything from building websites and setting up hosting to analyzing data and optimizing digital marketing efforts. You’ll be a go-to that the team turns to for all digital-related needs, so a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset are essential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Data Analysis & Modeling
- Analyzes complex data sets to identify patterns and trends and develop predictive models to optimize marketing strategies
- Develops and programs custom tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Analyzes marketing website analytics data using platforms like Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Piano.io Analytics, and others
- Analyzes social, online news, and traditional print and broadcast data using sources like Pulsar, Brandwatch, Critical Mention, Cision, Meltwater, and other analytics platforms to provide actionable insights
- Captures structured and unstructured data using crawler technologies like Mozenda
- Performs qualitative data analysis using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and generative AI systems
- Campaign Performance Tracking
- Works closely with marketing teams to design and implement metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights
- Understands how to effectively implement UTM tacking codes and vanity URL rewrites to effectively track campaign tactics from both online and offline sources
- Data Visualization
- Utilizes tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio and PowerBI to create and present dynamic data dashboards and visualizations for clear and impactful data representation
- Data Collection & Clean-Up
- Gathers and processes data from multiple sources, ensuring quality and consistency in data inputs
- Writes scripts to clean, normalize, manipulate, and format data from various sources for comprehensive reporting
- Connecting Digital Tools & Platforms
- Sets up and manages API connections between systems (e.g., CRM, analytics tools, social media platforms) to streamline data sharing and improve reporting
- Machine Learning & AI
- Implements and leverages AI tools to improve efficiency in marketing and analytics processes
- Integrates AI into data workflows, exploring applications for large language models to enhance data-driven decision-making
- Works closely with project leads to implement AI-powered applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and workflows
- Collaboration
- Works closely with marketing strategists, creatives and account managers to align data-driven recommendation with client goals
- Collaborates with internal teams and clients to determine requirements, develop solutions, and deploy tools that streamline data insights
- Serves as an internal digital expert, guiding colleagues and clients on best practices, new tools and innovative digital solutions
- Website Management
- Builds and maintains websites using systems like Wordpress, Drupal or other CMS tools
- Sets up hosting, manages domains, and troubleshoots technical issues as needed, ensuring seamless client experiences
- Continuous Leaning
- Stays updated on new platforms and technologies, embracing a proactive approach to learning and applying emerging tools and methodologies
Additionally, the ideal, candidate means these qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience, specifically in data and data science
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI, Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe CJA, Pulsar, Brandwatch, Cision, Meltwater, Sprout Social, Critical Mention or others.
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques
- Knowledge of marketing metrics, digital advertising, customer segmentation, and ROI analysis
- Ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Prior experience in a client-facing role, working on diverse projects with tight deadlines
- Strong experience with website builders (WordPress, Drupal, or other CMS platforms), hosting platforms and development tools (Visual Studio). Familiarity with domain setup and DNS management
- Experience with API integration for tool connectivity, data automation, and enhanced reporting
- Familiarity with Generative AI and Large Language Models like OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), or Meta (Llama)
- Ability to independently research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
- Familiarity with scripting or coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for customization and troubleshooting
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to: candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences and may fall outside the range shown. - Expected Compensation Range: $95,000 - $140,000

The physical activity required of this position includes standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing and use of repetitive motion. Light work is required of this position, occasionally lifting or moving objects between 10-20 pounds. The visual acuity of this position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. This position will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
