The Regional Sales Manager manages, directs, and coordinates all sales plans, programs, and activities. Ensures that professional business relations exist with customers and that their needs are met. Directs, trains, and appraises direct reports. Provides sales and product-related training to Inside Sales and Customer Service team members within the region.

The ideal candidate will possess:

a high school diploma or equivalent
a bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
a valid driver’s license
a minimum of five (5) years outside sales experience
experience in the floor covering industry preferred, but not required
proven ability to lead a sales team
a high motivation and ability to work independently
computer proficiency, most notably with MS Office Suite
the ability to promote company products as a professional sales representative to all existing and prospective customer accounts
the ability to maintain a general working knowledge of all major products and industry trends
excellent interpersonal skills and ease of developing business relationships with internal teams and outside vendors
ability to manage and coordinate projects
