MSA has an opportunity for a Project Manager Engineering at our Cedar Rapids, IA office. This position is on our Public Works Service Line and a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

Responsibilities
The work you will do
- Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
- Client relations
- Design of municipal infrastructure projects
- Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff
- Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documentsPreparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
- Development of project funding packages with assistance from funding staff
- Shared learning in a collaborative work environment
Qualifications
What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
- 6+ years of civil engineering experience in a consulting firm required
- PE preferred in Iowa
- Previous client liaison and project management experience or a desire to step into that role is required
