Marketing Coordinator

Department: Sales and Marketing

Reports to: VP of Sales and Marketing

Status: Exempt

Starting Salary: $52,000

I. Job Purpose/Objective:

Roberts Hawaii is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our Ohana. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support business objectives while equally proficient in day-to-day marketing activities. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with Senior Management and various teams to develop innovative marketing strategies that highlight our diverse offerings and experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and writing skills, a creative mindset, and a proven track record in managing integrated marketing and communication campaigns.

II. Essential Job Functions:

Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and print.
Content Creation: Help create engaging content for marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, social media, and promotional materials.
Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to support strategic marketing efforts.
Data Management: Maintain and update the marketing database and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Event Coordination: Assist in organizing marketing events, webinars, and trade shows, including logistics, promotional materials, and follow-up.
Social Media Management: Help manage and grow the company’s social media presence by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and tracking metrics.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing budgets.

III. Essential Skills (Minimum qualifications individual must possess when entering position) – i.e. skillsets, education, certifications, etc.:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools (i.e. Google Analytics, email marketing software).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in print and video production, photography, graphic design, branding, and public relations.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Skilled in the use of computers, adapts to new technology, keeps abreast of changes, learns new programs quickly, and uses technology to improve productivity.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiar with graphic design software (i.e. Adobe Creative Suites).
Passion for travel, tourism, and the Hawaiian culture is a plus.
Able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed or assigned.

Exposure to potential eye and muscle strain due to constant use of computer
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods
Walking, standing, kneeling, bending, pulling, pushing
Light lifting and carrying (40+ pounds)
