HR Generalist

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team and support the entire employee lifecycle in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will be instrumental in driving HR processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage onboarding processes, including pre-employment screenings, employee communications, and orientation programs to ensure an exceptional new hire experience.
Support employee relations by addressing concerns, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring alignment with company policies and labor laws.
Collaborate with managers to implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with organizational goals.
Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, participating in candidate selection, and drafting offer letters.
Maintain and update employee records and HR systems to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
Partner with the HR team to communicate organizational initiatives, promote engagement, and support diversity and inclusion efforts.
Provide guidance on performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
Support benefits administration, including enrollment, communication, and employee inquiries.
Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, and assist with audits as needed.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives that drive process improvements and align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of HR experience, including generalist responsibilities.
Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems such as UKG, ADP, or D365 is a plus.
