RETTEW is a 100% employee-owned engineering consulting firm headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. REWTTEW was founded in 1969 as a small local firm and has since grown to over 300 employees across 10 locations across the United States. Their technical expertise includes civil, transportation, environmental, and geotechnical; site planning and design; surveying; safety consulting; subsurface utility engineering; and construction services.
RETTEW became employee-owned in 2011 when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The company transitioned to 100% employee ownership in 2019. Through the ESOP, every RETTEW team member becomes a part-owner of the company. That sense of investment drives performance, accountability, and a deep commitment to quality. As a result, clients get something rare: a team that shows up not just as experts, but as owners.
