Training and Administrative Manager in Tucson, AZ who will be responsible for planning, provisioning, conducting, and reporting fast-paced training needs in support of innovation operations for the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center (AATC).

Responsibilities
As a Training and Administrative Manager with MTSI, you will be responsible for planning, provisioning, conducting, and reporting fast-paced training needs in support of innovation operations for the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center (AATC). The Air Reserve Component Innovation Center (ARCWERX) is an effort to fully engage industry concepts for help in solving difficult current and emerging problems and encourages a military culture of creative thinking and prevent “Stove-piped” processes.
Primary Responsibilities Are To
- Assist ARCWERX as the primary interface between ARCWERX and all outsourced innovation education providers as the candidate will evaluate and find suitable training sources.
- Scheduling planning meetings, managing education program application processes and training candidate selection, arranging venues and coordinating the blocking hotel space for in-person training events or in-person portions of hybrid events, coordinating technology for remote training, and facilitating the broadcast of project pitches for key leaders.
- Support the MTSI Contract Program Manager, Contract Project Controller, and their team with ARCWERX related purchasing, tracking, analysis, and perform general administrative needs. Additional duties include contract purchasing to include purchase requisitions and non-competitive source justifications for ARCWERX training needs; assist in purchasing budget allocation and tracking; assist in travel budgetary monitoring; assist in contract administrative support to include monthly invoice tracking and reconciliation of ARCWERX purchasing.
- Be well-versed in data management, tracking and analysis, along with various commercial software tools such as Microsoft Office and Smartsheets to enable these.
- Support AATC in the development of innovative technology solutions from cradle to grave in an independent, high-energy environment and will operate in multidisciplinary teams of industry, government and military personnel consisting of engineers, analysts, scientists, pilots and other aircrew.
Qualifications
- Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in general administrative support and minimum 5 years’ experience with procurement and purchasing.
- Should have in-depth experience with Microsoft Office Tools.
- Must have a strong ability to work in a team environment with demonstrated leadership and customer interface skills.
- Successful candidate should have good analytic skills and be capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment.
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Must have a can-do attitude and be self-starting, ambitious, and hard-working.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
Qualifications Desired
- Experience with Smartsheets application for data tracking.
Education Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, Desired.
Clearance Requirements
- None to start, (must be Secret eligible).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel in CONUS up to 10%.
