Position Overview
Best Friends Pet Care is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services for pets and their owners. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting visually appealing and cohesive designs for our digital platforms, including email campaigns, website elements, and scalable creative assets across our various pet care brands. The ideal candidate is proficient in design tools, has experience incorporating AI into creative workflows, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Experience in branding design is highly preferred to ensure the delivery of unified and impactful visual identities that resonate with pet owners and reflect our commitment to pet well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Campaign Design: Create and optimize engaging email campaigns that align with Best Friends Pet Care’s branding and marketing objectives, driving customer engagement and retention.
- Website Asset Development: Design and maintain website elements with a focus on user experience, ensuring brand consistency and enhancing the online presence of our pet care services.
- AI Integration: Utilize AI tools to streamline design processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver innovative creative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our audience.
- Creative Asset Scaling: Adapt and scale creative assets to fit different brand guidelines and formats, ensuring consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, copywriters, developers, and other stakeholders to execute cohesive campaigns that support our business goals.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze design performance metrics to inform and improve future projects, ensuring our designs effectively engage and convert our target audience.
- Branding Consistency: Maintain and enforce branding guidelines across all design assets, ensuring a unified and recognizable visual identity for Best Friends Pet Care.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in digital design and the pet care industry to keep our designs fresh and relevant.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in digital design, with a strong focus on email and web design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma or similar design tools.
- Front-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of front-end development concepts (HTML/CSS for emails preferred).
- Visual Storytelling: Strong skills in visual storytelling and brand alignment, with the ability to create designs that resonate with pet owners.
- AI Proficiency: Experience using AI tools for creative workflows, such as generative AI for design ideation and execution.
- Branding Expertise: Preferred experience in branding design, including the development and implementation of cohesive visual identities across multiple brands.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Education: A degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
