Hiring Range: $23.73 - $29.66 per hour

Our Aurora campus is seeking a skilled and passionate veterinary professional to instruct and mentor students in our Veterinary Assistant program. This is a hands-on teaching role perfect for someone who loves sharing their knowledge and wants to make a real difference in the lives of students and animals.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver dynamic, hands-on lessons that cater to various learning styles.
Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work to foster growth and competency.
Mentor students through their academic journey and support their externship placement.
Collaborate with campus teams to ensure a seamless and supportive student experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

A current, unencumbered credential as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
Must meet one of the following:
- Graduation from an accredited Veterinary Assistant or AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program, OR
- A minimum of four (4) years of job-related training and experience.
A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in the veterinary field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three (3) years of teaching experience in the subject field.
