The Role: We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Civil Engineer Designer – Utility Design to support our Site/Land Development Team in Salt Lake City, UT.

In this role, you will contribute to the planning, design, and production of public and private site development projects, with a focus on utility design, grading, drainage, and infrastructure systems. You will work closely with project managers and senior engineers, supporting technically driven, high-profile projects while ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. This is an opportunity to grow your technical expertise while contributing meaningfully to impactful community development projects.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
2+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in site development
Experience using OpenRoads and MicroStation in project design and production
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized work approach with ability to manage priorities
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and in a team environment
EIT Certification (or ability to obtain within 2 years of hire)

Preferred: Working toward Utah Professional Engineer (PE) licensure

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hour depending on experience Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
