We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Assistant with experience in a Construction Estimating environment who desires an exciting and challenging environment. An immediate opening is available at our suburban Toledo, Ohio Corporate Headquarters.

Position Description:
This Construction Assistant will be responsible for supporting and providing assistance to our Pre-Construction team. In addition to some general administrative duties, candidates will be responsible for compiling owner proposals and estimate packages, maintaining drawing files, manage our Plan Room and maintain the invitation list, coordinate bid meetings along with travel arrangements, etc. We utilize AIA Contracts Document Software and ConsensusDocs, knowledge of this software would be helpful but is not required. This is a fast-paced environment and candidates must be able to multitask and prioritize efficiently. Candidates must be very detail oriented.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Compile estimates and owner proposals
Manage Plan Room documentation
Maintain construction drawing files
Facilitate client and subcontractor correspondence
Order drawings and job site supplies
Report consolidation
Familiarity with drawing management and estimating software would be helpful
Coordinate meetings and lunches
Operate a multi-line phone

Qualifications:

High School Diploma Required
Commercial Construction experience preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Construction Assistant or Administrative Assistant in a construction environment
Specific experience supporting an Estimating or Pre-construction team
Must be proficient with MS Office
