Job Overview - Responsible for finishing signage including vinyl application, weeding, laminating, cutting, grommeting, sewing, etc.
Reports to Finishing Supervisor
Work Location - In Shop
Position Type - Full-time – Hourly (non-exempt)

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Read and interpret work orders and follow instructions for timely and quality completion of assigned daily projects
- Establish and follow established production standards
- Prioritize work orders to maximize efficiencies of the equipment and materials
- Take material inventory and coordinate orders with supervisor for stock items and job specific stock lists
- Work cooperatively with sales and other production departments on project-related issues and questions to ensure efficient production and meet deadlines
- Complete quality check of work and track jobs through internal production software
- Cut, mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates
- Operate laminator and grommet machine
- Clean vehicles prior to graphics installation
- Apply vehicle lettering and window graphics and take completed job photos
- Assist with on-site vinyl installations (wall murals, wall paper, etc.) as needed
Additional Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain safe and clean work area at all times
- Care and maintenance of assigned tools
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required
- Working knowledge of hand tools
- Working knowledge of computers, primarily Windows environment
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong basic math skills (addition, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals)
- Experience in hands-on work environment
- Reliability, flexibility and a professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to lift stock and materials of 25 lbs. onto equipment without machine assistance
- Ability to:
- troubleshoot problems and develop solutions
- read, understand, and interpret work orders
- follow written and oral instructions
- correctly use and read a tape measure
- multitask in a schedule-driven environment with the ability to maintain accuracy
- take direction and willingness to learn
- work off shift hours as needed
- work as part of a team and unsupervised
- High school or trade school diploma or GED
- United States Work Authorization
Preferred
- Experience in a finishing environment (1 year)
- Experience with cutter, grommet machine and laminators
- Experience with vinyl installation
- Experience with sewing machine
- Sign industry experience
- Post-Secondary Education or Equivalent Experience
- Valid Driver License

- May also be exposed to loud noises, dust, and fumes from the manufacturing plant.
