Overview
MSA has an opportunity for a Transportation Engineering Intern for the summer of 2025 in any of our following Wisconsin office locations: Baraboo, Beaver Dam, or Madison. The primarily role of this position is to assist with transportation data collection and analysis within various communities in Wisconsin. This position will offer students hands-on project exposure to transportation engineering. The projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

Responsibilities
The work you may do
- Traffic counting, GIS reporting, or other project data collection
- Complete reports and documentation on traffic data collection
- Construction field inspection/staking operations
- Complete Inspector Daily Reports (IDR’s) and other DOT reports
- Measure and compute item quantities installed on the project
Qualifications
What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or related) in Civil Engineering is preferred
- A valid driver’s license required
- Prior experience in the transportation field preferred
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- A desire to learn more about transportation engineering projects in a consulting industry
