Additional Compensation Details:
- $80k-$90k annually Dependent on Experience and Location of Role
- Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.
Responsibilities
The Role
The Network Field Analyst supports projects such as Cable Management, Data Center maintenance, Security Access control, Wireless Networks and Surveillance for all divisions. This position also assists in selecting single vendor of choice and engages establishing an enterprise-wide agreement with the approved vendors.
Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To
- Manage assigned IT assets throughout the lifecycle including tracking, purchasing, shipping, receiving and exception follow-up to resolve issues.
- Evaluating installations and or reconfigurations of the Hardware and Software baseline.
- Writing documentation regarding system build out, including the creation of visual schematics.
- Responsible for standardization of security devices, management best practices and collaborates with internal IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Ordering and deploying new security device management and upgrades (with associated record keeping)
- Helping troubleshoot physical security issues with employees, owners.
- Monitoring Wi Fi, access control, time clocks, UPS’s, switches, back-up
- Optimizing plans for minimizing cost while maximize results.
- Relocation of networking and security equipment along with the employee’s transfer
- Software licensing management, contract administration, vendor management, hardware and software procurement.
- Responsible for the procurement of IT equipment, management of the IT asset database, tracking and maintaining accurate inventory records and reorder points, and logistics including managing the incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Provide monitoring support of accredited network systems for compliance.
- Complete internal audits of software and hardware records to ensure accuracy and vendor licensing compliance.
- Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain Video Teleconference (VTC) systems in meeting rooms.
- Approving Vendor invoices in DocLink for related computer equipment.
- Respond to requests and providing effective customer service using clear communication skills.
- Serve on rotating emergency back up after hours call duty.
- Additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
- All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- BA or BS degree or equivalent workplace experience.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience conducting network problem analysis.
- Network Monitoring Experience.
- Tier 2/3 Troubleshooting & Engineering Support Experience.
- Platform Systems Experience.
- Computer Security & Systems Hardening Experience.
- Network and datacenter buildouts experience.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Emotional intelligence with a thorough understanding of customer service.
- The ability to travel up to 55% of the time.
- A passion and desire for excellence.
